This test is designed to measure your knowledge of the additional risks that are associated with flying drones near people. The certificate of competence is issued upon the successful completion of this test. The pilot must maintain at least 30 metres from any non-involved person, or 5 meters when flying in slow flight mode.
You must take a certain amount of lessons to pass the theory test and then the practical test. This amount varies depending on your age, abilities and progress in learning. However, a minimum of 12 lessons of 90 minutes must be completed.
